NPC & PVP Battles: Do the BUTTON SMASH
An NPC battle will start once your character has encountered an NPC monster. Monsters appear only in the districts and are more frequent in the harder levels. You may request for an NPC at the beginning of your post. 1. The Console shall post the NPC to your thread, and your character may choose to engage in battle or flee. 2. If the character chooses to fight, the first round will be rolled. ATTACK: How much damage your character makes. DAMAGE: How much damage your character takes. DEFENSE: How much damage your character blocks. *Note: Due to each race's stats, a double roll will be required. Mortals double roll the DAMAGE die, and the smallest number will be picked. Vampires double roll the ATTACK die, and the biggest number will be picked. Angels double roll the DEFENSE die, and the biggest number will be picked. 3. Your character will react with the roll, you are free to do as you wish as long as your post reflects the roll. For example, a CRITICAL roll for DAMAGE will not be your character getting just a scratch on the cheek. 4. The Console will then second round, and so on and so forth until either the NPC lose all HP or the PLAYER decides to flee or loses all HP. Once the NPC is defeated, The Console will post the results and rewards of the battle. *Note: Your character's health is logged in the Lio Dex, along with their hunger/thirst, items and other stats. *Other Note: If someone joins the thread during the battle, they are allowed to help. PLAYER 2 die will be rolled after PLAYER 1 posts their character reaction to the roll. If an NPC appears in a thread with more than one character already in it, they will take turns in the same manner. PVP battles are similar to the NPC battles, except that the DAMAGE die is not used, instead the damage the character takes is defined by the other character's attack. 1. Once a character challenges another to an official PVP fight, the CHALLENGED has a chance to attempt an escape. A die will be rolled to justify success. If the CHALLENGED accepts the fight, the rolling will commence. 2. The Console will roll the ATTACK die for PLAYER1 (challenger), this will be marked as ROUND ZERO, as the challenger isn't taking any damage. PLAYER 1 will now act on the roll. 3. The Console will roll the ATTACK die for PLAYER2(challenged). PLAYER 2 will act on both rolls, but the damage will not be taken into account, as it is still ROUND ZERO. 4. The Console will roll the ATTACK and the DEFENSE die for PLAYER1. PLAYER1 will act on the roll and take into account PLAYER2's first ATTACK roll and take/block the damage, this will be marked as ROUND ONE. 5. The Console will roll the ATTACK and the DEFENSE die for PLAYER2. PLAYER2 will act on the roll and take into account PLAYER1's ROUND ONE ATTACK roll and take/block the damage, this will be marked as ROUND ONE. 6. And so it continues until somebody loses all HP. Take in mind that the losing character WILL NOT DIE. The only chance a character might die is during an official DEATH MATCH. |
